The Trade Control Specialist will be expected to support the import and export related activities of The Boeing Company and its subsidiary operations in Saudi Arabia.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing subject matter expertise in the trade control regulations pertaining to the import and export of goods, software and technology; this includes military and dual use export controls, customs controls and duty relief schemes
• Leading the development and deployment of internal controls policies and procedures necessary to ensure operations are compliant with the requirements of all applicable regulations
• Preparing and providing trade control compliance training
• Ensuring company personnel are aware of current regulations and any changes thereto
• Conducting on-site monitoring of program sites and contracted service providers in order to ensure trade activities are conducted in compliance with the requirements of all applicable regulations and documented, approved procedures
• With the assistance of program and subsidiary personnel, you will research and assess the most appropriate export license and/or duty relief scheme for programs, ensuring the appropriate authorizations are applied for and obtained from governmental agencies
• Ensuring that requirements of the authorizations are understood by the programs and that appropriate writings are in place to ensure compliance
• Assisting programs in the resolution of trade control issues that may arise, including interface with appropriate agencies, customs brokers, freight forwarders and program personnel
• Providing consultation and guidance on trade control matters to support the company objectives
• Providing assistance consistent with the above requirements to operations in other jurisdictions, as required
