Sales Activities & Customer Acquisition
- Monitor the sales activities performed by the respective regions. Ensure that the utilization levels are as per the targeted levels by increasing the share of the wallet.
- Visit current and potential clients accompanied with the RMs CBG and the Regional Manager / Trade Sales Manager / Assistant Sales Manager.
- Reviewing the call reports submitted by the sales team to identify any issues and facilitate to resolve same with the relative stake holders.
- Provide trade advisory services and necessary training to ARB clients, potential clients and to the sales team.
- Sell ARB GTF products and services to existing and potential clients and generate additional business thereby increasing the market share of ARB.
- Ensure that the ARB e trade service is sold to achieve at least a minimum level of 80% of electronically channeled trade transactions.
Client Service
- Ensures prompt and professional service to corporate clients for all their business and financial needs.
- Ensure that ARB is ranked as the most preferred bank to the customer.
Cross Sell
- Assist the business in generating trade revenues (Rebates, Re-routing, Risk participation etc.)
- Cross ell other banking products such as (Corporate Finance, FX, Money market deals, Deposits and investment products)
- Explore opportunities such as big ticket deals and start up corporates. (i.e. transaction structuring and advisory services)
- Jointly with FI strengthen correspondent relationships with overseas Banks.
Business Support
- Assist in developing new trade finance products or repackaging the existing products.
- Responsible for setting up ARB Trade Finance long terms strategy planning and direction.
- Monitor and report any defaults made by counter party banks to FI for their future Credit Risk evaluation.
Business Growth
- Develops and implements business action plans for Global Trade Finance in an effort to contribute and achieve the banks ultimate goals such as, revenues growth, market share, corporate image and social responsibility
People Management
- Directs and ensures the effective achievement of functional objectives through leadership of the Global Trade Finance, setting departmental and individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback, and appraisal in order to maximize subordinate and departmental performance.
- Retaining talented staff & weed out low performers
- Achieve the Saudization goal of the bank.
